My Motivation for helping others comes from a difficult background with my mum having Leukaemia when I was child and my brother committing suicide in 2018.

I’ve never had a personal trainer before, but I have to say I wish I’d done this years ago. Sessions are fun but productive. I started training in July so I’m about six weeks in, and the results are already starting to show. I’ve always quit in the end when I’ve tried to go it alone, but quit isn’t in Joe’s vocabulary! CANCELLATION POLICY

Personal trainers must be notified of cancellations 24 hours in advance of scheduled sessions. You must receive verbal confirmation of cancellation from the trainer. If you do not appear for a scheduled appointment or fail to give 24 hour notice, you will be charged for the full session. Personal trainers will only wait 15 minutes for late arrivals and your sessions will start from the time agreed upon. Please call if you are going to be more than 5 minutes late for a session.

At this moment in time Joseph James Fitness is still running fully keeping a eye on all government updates, and we are now offering online personal training via Skype, click here for more information.

As a matter of wellbeing and safety as always cleanliness standards and personal hygiene is of top priority as always.

Cornard Leisure Centre is still open as normal but classes have stopped for time being and our relaunch date of the 28th is postponed for the time for now.

I will also be able to train people at their homes or outside and still offer sport’s massage unless new restrictions come in if that happens then I will offer online training or training plans so people can still train in this current situation.

But on a different note people need to stay calm and help each other it’s good for morale and mental wellbeing. I would also like to say keep your fitness levels up and eat well as will not only boost immune system but keep you mentally robust.

But most importantly be kind and help others and check on elderly relatives even if you have lost touch because what I have observed today when out shopping is nothing short of madness. I have not panic bought once, and people are buying multiple items and leaving others short. The nation rallied around for each other in world war 2 now people are acting feral and we may not even be at the peak of this situation.

So relax, think of others and unite as a country the results will be far better.

I have been under Josepeh james fitness for the last 4 months. I find losing weight difficult, mainly due to my job as i am a shift worker and love of food. I also, try to have a 1-2-1 session once a week with joe to keep me motivated. Today, i felt different and although the weight been coming off slowly i finally braved the scales and found i have finally lost a stone. This ment the 2 pairs of jeans i got before xmas, that i couldnt get above my hips now fit, admittedly one a little snug. However, when i text joe he was over the moon and encouraging. He also encourages me to do activities i enjoy. I hate the gym and have always been made to feel, to lose weight i should be pumping weights and gyming it 4 times a week. Joe encourages me to stay active and this includes my love of walking...as long as im increasing my heart rate and moving its all good. He also changes every session that we have so i dont get bored. I also find his youtube workout good, as it means i dont need the gym and it saves time too. Joe also encouraging to allow me to bring friends and the other half along to sessions too, so work outs are more fun.

I trained with Joe for 3 months as I was trying to lose weight! I lost a stone and a half but also gained strength and muscle. Joe is easy to get along with and brings good energy to the sessions we done together. He is creative with workouts and would vary the training between weight sessions and circuits.
